Brian's Exalted

My current game design project is converting Exalted to the EABA core mechanic in a similar fashion to my Delta Green project. I think EABA's scaling dice pool system will be an excellent fit for the varying power levels in the Exalted world. I'll post documents here as I do them.

My conversion will feature:

  • Fully fleshed out Charm trees featuring conversions of official Exalted Charms and perhaps a few new ones.
  • A consistent, unified mechanic that scales up and down Exalted's various power levels.
  • A simplified Virtue system.
  • "Fate Points" that reward good role-playing and allow the players to take charge of the story.
  • Faster combat! Social Combat! Epic Combat!
  • Big swords and killer armor!
